Bandrek is the traditional drink of the original Bumi Parahyangan or Sunda. This drink is made from natural ingredients and has benefits such as warming and nourishing the body. Bandrek Hanjuang is one of the pioneers in producing bandrek instant powder. The number of new players both large and small companies has been contributing in hampering Bandrek Hanjuang sales growth. There many of competitors that use ginger as the beverage core ingredients. These companies are considered as direct competitors to Bandrek Hanjuang. Since 2011 not achieved the target of sales and competition is getting tighter in Bandung. Therefore, Bandrek Hanjuang has decided to expand its market to outside Bandung and Cimahi by entering Sukabumi on January 2012 and Bogor on July 2012. Bandrek Hanjuang requires appropriate marketing strategies for market development in Bogor. The range of marketing budget is limited between IDR 50-75 million. The purpose of this research is to provide suitable marketing strategies within the given budget. Bogor Tengah was chosen as the sampling area due to higher population density since this area is supported with facilities such as residential, offices, schools, and tourism spots. In this research, a market development model is developed as the synthesis of literature and case study. This model is utilized to analyze market characteristic and to determine the appropriate marketing strategy based on the market characteristic. Applying this model in Bandrek Hanjuang case, complemented with company external and internal analysis, the research shows that Bogor market characteristics are heterogeneous and the appropriate marketing strategy is guerrilla attacks. The proposed business solution implementation includes human resource plan, schedule planning, and financial budget to run a guerrilla marketing. The marketing strategy would be carried out at the beginning of July to December 2012; first to test the market and then slowly would penetrate the market. The required resources to do guerrilla marketing is 9 people with estimated budget of IDR 70.5 million. This budget is still in accordance with the request of the company

The study was done to determine the affect of reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and tangibles either individually or together towards patientsatisfaction. The data that obtained to be processed using descriptive analysis andquantitative statistical analysis. Quantitative analysis used regression analysis to knowthe affect of variable independent towards variable dependent, but before theregression is done, formerly mentioned do the validity test and reliability test alsosettlement test. The result of regression analysis indicate that reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and tangibles give the affect to patient satisfaction really withcorrelation product moment is positive, this case indicates that increasing reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and tangibles will be followed increasing patientsatisfaction, so as well on the contrary. The result of regression analysis test indicatedthat value of F is significant, with correlation as big as 0,813. This case indicates thatreliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and tangibles give affect really towardsperformance employee according to together with the connection tightness as big as81,3%.The conclusion that be obtained in this study indicated that to increasing patientsatisfaction, it is necessary to increased reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathyand tangibles

Making of Thinkgather.com as Collaborating and Networking Media for Researchers

This paper considers reasons why the number of scientific publications produced in Indonesia remain low in comparison to other countries, as is the number of scientific researchers. These issues are caused by many factors, including the fact that researchers often experience difficulties in obtaining references to both books and journals that support their research, and secondly that researchers find it difficult to find research partners who have scientific similarities and interests in one research topic. The purpose of this study is to answer the above problems through the design and development of an application called thinkgather.com, an interactive medium for researchers. One of the advantages of this application is being able to connect between one researcher and another researcher in one social media. This research was designed to have 3 stages of research, namely the preliminary study and data collection stage, the planning and building stage, the limited scale trial stage. It is expected that the thinkgather.com application can become a means of researchers as a media discussion and facilitate researchers in finding partners in the research that will be carried out. Coral Reef Community Changes in Karimunjawa National Park, Indonesia: Assessing the Efficacy of Management in the Face of Local and Global Stressors

Karimunjawa National Park is one of Indonesia's oldest established marine parks. Coral reefs across the park are being impacted by fishing, tourism and declining water quality (local stressors), as well as climate change (global pressures). In this study, we apply a multivariate statistical model to detailed benthic ecological datasets collected across Karimunjawa's coral reefs, to explore drivers of community change at the park level. Eighteen sites were surveyed in 2014 and 2018, before and after the 2016 global mass coral bleaching event. Analyses revealed that average coral cover declined slightly from 29.2 +/- 0.12% (Standard Deviation, SD) to 26.3 +/- 0.10% SD, with bleaching driving declines in most corals. Management zone was unrelated to coral decline, but shifts from massive morphologies toward more complex foliose and branching corals were apparent across all zones, reflecting a park-wide reduction in damaging fishing practises. A doubling of sponges and associated declines in massive corals could not be related to bleaching, suggesting another driver, likely declining water quality associated with tourism and mariculture. Further investigation of this potentially emerging threat is needed. Monitoring and management of water quality across Karimunjawa may be critical to improving resilience of reef communities to future coral bleaching
